With a rare ability to make everyone feel special – greeting people with a beaming smile and a sense of humility – both the young and old – instantly made the world seem brighter.

Eso Eso was the heartbeat of the family. As a daughter, she was the embodiment of love, showing appreciation for her parents, filling their lives with cherished memories. As a sister, she was a protector and a best friend, always ready to help and protect. Among her friends, she was the glue that held friendships strong, lifting others with her kindness.
Though her time on earth was shorter than we had hoped, one thing for sure, she leaves a mark that will never fade. Her kindness, her smile, and her love remain imprinted in the hearts of those who knew her. She practically taught us that happiness can indeed be found in the simplest acts such as kind words, a gentle hug, a shared smile… to love without hesitation and to embrace every moment with gratitude.
Ultimately, Esona fought her illness with the same grace and determination that she carried in all aspects of her life. Though her body grew weaker, her spirit never faltered. She bore the weight of her pain but never allowed it to dim her light. Even in moments of pains and discomfort, she was still full of hope, still dreaming, still believing in the promise of tomorrow. She made promises of brighter days ahead and allowed us to plan and dream alongside her – believing that we had more time. And in doing so, she gave us the gift of hope.
In her final moments, ma-Eso gave us something priceless – a goodbye filled with love. Even in the last hours, she remained true to herself, full of kindness and grace, a bright star still shining as she prepared for her journey home. Though our hearts longed to keep her here, God, in his wisdom, knew what we did not. He saw beyond our prayers and beyond our longing.
School Life
Her journey of learning and growth began at Faith Primary School, where she attended pre-primary education before moving to Mbuqe Park Primary School where she completed her Grade 5. It was in these early years that her personality began to blossom, excelling not only in academics but also embracing a creative expression. Her academic path led her to De Vos Malan Hoërskool, where she continued to thrive. A diligent student with a curious mind, she approached learning with enthusiasm and a deep desire to understand the world around her. As she matured, her interests expanded beyond creativity – she developed a passion for sports, particularly in tennis and netball where she found a new way to express her competitive spirit.
Known for her incredible sense of curiosity, always asking questions, always seeking to understand and embrace the world around her, she had an innate wisdom beyond her age, offering comfort and encouragement in ways that left many in awe. Her love for music and creativity in activities became a way of crafting her own narratives that entertained and inspired those who watched and listened. From as early as 7 years old, she grew a passion for producing her own content in the social media space. Her many TikTok pages and her Instagram page tell a story of the entertaining content she created and all these leave behind a legacy of moments that bring smiles to us all.
